Death and grief work

Honouring the process of death and dying has been important to me since losing a grandma and cousin at a young age. Considering my own death, how that might impact others and how that helps me to prioritise things within my own life, is an ever present process for me personally.

After taking a foundation course in End of Life care with Living Well Dying Well, as well as a course with Cruse Bereavement on Anticipatory Grief and Supporting those Bereaved by Suicide, I decided to practice as a death doula for my immediate community and to host death cafes for a wider network.

You can see my upcoming death cafes here.

I’d like to make more of this knowledge and support accessible to more people and would love the opportunity to support you or your loved ones, or a community you work with, with preparatory conversations, end of life planning and navigating grief.

I’d particularly like to work with queer and trans people due to the issues they face in navigating care systems, complex family dynamics and being honoured within their death.
